Welcome to Shop with a Kappa Website. Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. is an international Greek-letter fraternity founded in 1911. The fraternity has more than 150,000 members with 721 undergraduate and alumni chapters in every state of the United States as well as international chapters. The Las Vegas Alumni and Theta Sigma Chapters are actively involved in the Las Vegas community through its community service, youth mentoring, and various civic activities.
Shop with a Kappa is a Guide Right Program initiative hosted by the Las Vegas Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi along with the Diamond Foundation Inc. (Kappa Alpha Psi non-profit entity). Shop with a Kappa is an annual event that occurs every December since 2012.
Members of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc accompany disadvantage children in the community as each child enjoy spending $100.00 for Christmas gifts of their choosing from the local Wal-Mart store. The children selected to participate are chosen from Boy’s Town, Rainbow Dreams Academy, Andre Agassi Prep. Academy, Southern Nevada Regional Housing Authority, Big Brother’s and Big Sister’s, and Booker and Goynes Elementary school. Since the inception of Shop with a Kappa, it has grown and has been incorporated nationally. We are proud to announce that we have given away more than one million dollars nationally.
